About the Role:
•    Position: Multi Skilled Engineer
•    Location: Gillingham, Kent
•    Schedule: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00
•    Salary: £48,000 - £52,000 per annum

Your Role:

•    Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of mechanical and electrical systems to keep production running smoothly.
•    Implement modifications and upgrades to enhance efficiency, reduce downtime, and introduce the latest automation technology.
•    From new machine installations to process improvements, take ownership of engineering projects and drive real change.
•    Carry out preventive maintenance and predictive analysis to prevent breakdowns and optimise machinery.
•    Your expertise will directly influence productivity, product quality, and sustainability.
•    Gain exposure to electrical, mechanical, PLCs, automation, and control systems, developing your skills in a dynamic environment.

What We’re Looking For:

•    Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing, food, FMCG, or industrial environment.
•    A strong background in both mechanical or electrical engineering, or both!
•    Experience with PLC fault-finding, automation, and control systems is a plus!
•    A proactive, hands-on approach with a problem-solving mindset.
•    Ability to work independently and within a team in a dynamic 24/7 environment.
